this is the fifth rap in my rap diary series. this one was inspired by today's visit to the ER to get my staples out and a cast put on my foot post surgery, the nurse that was helping was a former mom from my old soccer team but for the life of me i couldn't remember her name... until it clicked.

inspired by snoop dogg's rapping style.

E to the V to the I to the E
today i went to the emergency
it's finally time that i get to see
what the heck these surgeons did to me

i hope somebody comes to get me soon
a lady called my name so i turned my head
then i turned it back to my mom and said:
omg ma wheres she from?
can't remember her name it's a the tip of my tongue

i know she was a mom from my old soccer team
but do you know how long it's freakin been?

i've met so many people oh since then
somebody hand me a paper and pen

let's run through the alphabet, A-B-C
i take a deep breath and count to three

Ashley, Angela, Amanda, Anne
none of these sound right, oh man, oh man

Brenda, Bethany I don't know who
lady what's your name give me a clue

she's talking to me, but i'm just staring at her
can't concentrate, it's all a blur

let's go back to listing names
me oh my i'm so ashamed

Charlotte, Claire, Claudia,
won't sleep until i get this, insomnia

i'm getting really close, i can tell
why no name tag, what the hell

take another deep breath, 1 2 3
come on name come on come to me

Caley, Cindy, Carol yesss
carol carol carol that's my guess

i knew that i would figure it out
c'mon did you really have any doubt

ha just kidding my palms were getting sweaty
sweating so bad i was getting kinda smelly

and then carol said: "do you remember my daughter?"
i just about fainted, mom get me some water
