this is the eleventh rap in my "rap diary". i wanted to write a love song/ letter to myself to remind myself that i'm doing a great job at life. self-love is important.

i've been hurt one too many times by almost relationships
and even though it hurts.. it hurts real bad...
i believe in the timing of my life
with the pieces that are left i whole heartedly trust
that everything happens for a reason
and if something keeps happening over and over again
i try to step out of myself, out of my being and
observe what life is trying to teach me
it's been said before that you have to fall madly inlove with yourself
before anyone else can
maybe it's never worked out with anyone else
because i haven't made it work within myself
in the Tagalog language, kundiman means love song
this is my kundiman to myself

everything you thought that you really couldn't do
